Allan Leonard is co-founder and editor of Shared Future News, which reports on peacebuilding in Northern Ireland. He has served in senior management positions in several charities established to promote peace and reconciliation, where he also gained international experience supporting programmes in other divided societies. His professional background includes project and staff management, fundraising, marketing and communication.
Allan earned a Bachelor’s degree in international relations, from Boston University, and a Master’s degree in Irish politics, from University College Dublin. His personal interests are photography, running, and genealogy. Allan fundraises for the Stroke Association and Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke, and he serves as a carer representative on a public health policy committee.
